Terms of Service

Last updated: July 13, 2026

1. About FabCareer

FabCareer (“the Service”, “we”, “us”) is an AI career intelligence platform for engineers in the semiconductor equipment industry, currently operated by [Operator legal name and address]. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use FabCareer. You agree that the information you provide about yourself is accurate and that you'll keep it up to date.

3. Accounts

Accounts are created and accessed via a passwordless email sign-in link. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since that is what controls access to your FabCareer account. Let us know immediately if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

4. What the Service Does

You provide career profile information (skills, certifications, languages, equipment experience, education, work history, and preferences). We compute a Career Score— a deterministic, explainable match against job postings we've ingested from public career sites of semiconductor equipment manufacturers — and generate an AI Career Match Engine analysis (match reasoning, transferable skills, career growth outlook, and similar) using a third-party AI model, as described in our Privacy Policy.

The Career Score and AI Match Score are informational tools to help you understand your fit against a posting. They are not a guarantee of interview, offer, or employment, and should not be your sole basis for a career decision.

5. Third-Party Job Postings

Job postings shown on FabCareer are aggregated from the public career sites of the employers listed. FabCareer is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any employer whose postings appear on the Service. Postings may be inaccurate, outdated, or removed by the employer at any time without notice to us — always verify details on the employer's own site before applying or making a decision based on a posting.

6. Subscriptions and Billing

FabCareer offers a Free tier and paid Pro / Pro Max subscriptions, billed monthly in USD through our payment processor, Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically each billing period until cancelled. See our Refund Policy for cancellation and refund details.

FabCareer never receives or stores your full payment card details — those are handled directly by Stripe. See Stripe's own terms and privacy policy for how they process payment information.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Scrape, reverse-engineer, or systematically extract data from the Service outside normal use;
  • Impersonate another person or misrepresent your career history;
  • Use the Service to spam, harass, or send unsolicited communications to any party;
  • Attempt to circumvent subscription tier limits or access controls.

8. Intellectual Property

FabCareer's branding, design, and underlying software are our property. You retain ownership of the career information you submit; by submitting it, you grant us a license to process and store it as needed to operate the Service, including sending it to the third-party processors described in our Privacy Policy.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of job postings, Career Scores, or AI-generated content. AI-generated match reasoning reflects a language model's output grounded in the data available to it, and can be wrong or incomplete.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FabCareer is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including career or employment decisions made based on information from the Service.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see Privacy Policy for how). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated “Last updated” date above.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Germany — to be confirmed once the operating entity is formally established], without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

14. Contact
