Senior Mechanical Hardware Engineer at Lam Research responsible for designing and improving complex subsystems and assemblies for semiconductor manufacturing equipment, with focus on DFM/DFA assessments, CAD modeling, and mentoring junior engineers.

Lam Research India team is organized into three major areas of responsibility: Hardware, Software, and Operations. We have an open position inthe Hardware group. The Hardware group, designs subassemblies and subsystems for Lam’sproduct lines, providing innovation for the next-generation products, providing improvements incost and reliability. In Hardware group, mechanical engineers, simulation analysts, electricalengineers, manufacturing engineers, and supplier quality engineers contribute to designing andimproving Lam’s products.
As a Senior Mechanical Hardware Engineer in Lam, you're working on the engineeringdeliverables of complex subsystems and system from Leads and System Engineers to ensure itis first time right. Your role involves DFM assessments of components involving different fabrication process and design complexities, DFA assessment of complex assemblies etc. Apartfrom driving & reviewing the deliverables per drafting priority project list , you will also bementoring hardware designers in team on detailing to ensure seamless fabrication ofcomponents and systems.
You will be part of the Dry Photoresist group and In this role you will report to the Manager of Dry Photoresist team in Lam India

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
