As Regional Indirect Procurement Sourcing Manager at Lam, you will play a crucial role in developing go-to-market approaches and driving cost competitiveness while managing supplier relationships for indirect goods and services. You are responsible to develop and implement procurement strategies, benchmark suppliers, negotiate agreements, and resolve delivery, cost, and service challenges. Navigating a highly visible and dynamic environment, your strategic expertise in creating and implementing supplier solutions will support the availability, quality, and cost-effectiveness of indirect procurement to maintain Lam's reliability and competitive edge.
This is a highly visible role shaping the procurement agenda for strategic capital projects, from greenfield builds to major site expansions and complex upgrades. You will set direction for how we engage the markets, translate business objectives into sourcing strategies, and ensure projects land on time, on budget, and in compliance—while realizing measurable value in safety, quality, schedule, risk mitigation, and total cost of ownership.
You will partner closely with multiple functions stewarding decisions that influence project economics and lifecycle outcomes. The remit includes Malaysia as primary scope with the potential to support other regions depending on portfolio priorities.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
