The impact you’ll make

Join Lam as an Operations Business Analyst, where you'll spearhead process improvement initiatives. With your data expertise, you collect and analyze data through a range of Business Intelligence (BI) tools and apps, develop metrics, and identify root causes with data-driven indicators for future improvements. Organizing cross-functional project teams, you communicate team progress and survey best practices, showcasing your commitment to operational excellence at Lam.

What you’ll do

  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels across multiple sites to ensure healthy inventory positions and identify potential excess and obsolete (E&O) risks
  • Drive inventory mitigation actions by working closely with cross-functional stakeholders including Supply Chain, Planning, Finance, and Operations teams
  • Support inventory governance processes, including reporting, tracking, and review cadence to ensure compliance with business requirements
  • Perform data analysis to provide insights and recommendations for inventory optimization and continuous improvement
  • Support regional inventory initiatives and projects, including system improvements and process enhancements
  • Prepare regular reports and dashboards to provide visibility on inventory performance, risks, and mitigation progress

Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 2 years of related experience; or an advanced degree without experience; or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret data and identify trends
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel & Power Point; experience with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Kinaxis) is an advantage
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and communicate insights clearly
  • Detail-oriented with strong sense of ownership and accountability
  • Eagerness to learn, adaptable to a fast-paced environment, and able to manage multiple priorities

Preferred qualifications

  • Prior experience in inventory analysis, supply chain planning, or E&O (Excess & Obsolete) management
  • Familiarity with enterprise systems such as SAP, Kinaxis, or similar planning tools
  • Experience in data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
  • Exposure to process improvement, automation, or analytics tools (e.g., Alteryx, Python, or Excel macros)
  • Understanding of supply chain processes, including demand/supply planning or manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a regional or cross-functional environment

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
