Mechanical Engineer for R&D group designing multidisciplinary mechanical assemblies for semiconductor inspection systems, including mechanical design, simulations, and cross-functional collaboration.
We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our R&D group. The position includes the mechanical design of multidisciplinary assemblies, including the design of small and accurate mechanisms, structural chassis, machined parts, sheet metal, plastic parts, 3D-printed parts, electrical cabinets/enclosures, pneumatic systems, and more.
You will be working in a highly dynamic environment with many stakeholders involved in each project. As the core of our projects is mechanical, you will be fully involved in the design process from the concept stage through all design and manufacturing phases.
What’s in it for you?
You will find yourself developing mechanical solutions and sustaining systems in the field of semiconductors inspection (imaging and metrology). You will have the chance to innovate and develop ideas from a very early stage and shape them to make them suitable for a final product. The high-end mechanical requirements from Inspection systems, vacuum systems, and wafer handling automation will motivate you to combine your technical insights together with advanced analysis tools. You'll enjoy collaborations with physics, electrical, and system groups, as well as with other mechanical engineering teams in order to integrate these technologies into Camtek next generation products.
