As a Systems Engineer, you’ll design, integrate, and optimize complex systems that drive the semiconductor industry forward. Your expertise in systems thinking and problem-solving is essential as you collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop advanced solutions to intricate processes and writing system specifications. You’ll be responsible for analyzing requirements, defining system architectures, conducting thorough testing, and ensuring seamless integration of subsystems. System Engineer - Optical Wafer Inspection Tool
We're hiring a System Engineer to take full ownership of a precision opto-mechatronic subsystem on an optical wafer inspection tool : from concept through design, integration, and release.
The role sits at the intersection of real-time control, optical sensing, and cross-discipline systems engineering, and suits someone who can drive a subsystem end to end and coordinate optics, mechanics, electronics, and software contributors. MSc minimum in a relevant engineering or physics field.
About the role
Our optical wafer inspection tool is an imaging-based semiconductor process-control and inspection platform. We are looking for a System Engineer to take full ownership of a core precision subsystem : driving it through the complete development cycle and acting as the technical center of gravity across the optical, mechanical, electronic, and software disciplines that contribute to it.
