Electrical Program Lead Engineer for WETS Deposition group, responsible for defining next-generation electrical and controls platforms for wafer fabrication equipment with system-level technical authority for electrical and controls architecture.
WETS Deposition group at Lam India Global Hardware Technology (LIGHT) is hiring a Electrical Program Lead Engineer for its product development engineering and product ownership team. This role plays a critical part in defining next‑generation electrical and controls platforms for wafer fabrication equipment.
As an Electrical Program Lead Engineer, you will serve as the system‑level technical authority for electrical and controls architecture of wafer fabrication equipment who could handle complex problems. This role owns end‑to‑end electrical, controls, and system engineering responsibility for assigned tool sub‑modules and platforms, defining architecture, interfaces, Theory of Operation, and integration strategy from concept through high‑volume manufacturing and field support.

Lam offers a variety of work location models based on the needs of each role. Our hybrid roles combine the benefits of on-site collaboration with colleagues and the flexibility to work remotely and fall into two categories – On-site Flex and Virtual Flex. ‘On-site Flex’ you’ll work 3+ days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, with the opportunity to work remotely for the balance of the week. ‘Virtual Flex’ you’ll work 1-2 days per week on-site at a Lam or customer/supplier location, and remotely the rest of the time.
