Full Description
Student Role: • Involved in all peripheral design and development work in the New Product Introduction (NPI) projects. • Involved in broad aspects of electronics circuit design for manufacturability review, test development, and implementation on Cabling and Device Electronics PCBAs. • Opportunity to work on analyzing, modifying, and evaluating electronic subsystems of the Semiconductor Equipment. • Take part to assist and support Engineers in conducting feasibility, design margin and validation analysis, and empirical testing on new and leveraged designs for design improvement and cost reduction. • Get the opportunity to learn about real world product development, design support and technical validation. Main Responsibilities: • Printed Circuit Board layout analysis and review / validating engineering implementations of circuitry in analog & digital electronics, optoelectronics, and power electronics in accordance with provided specifications and requirements. • Assist Engineers to develop new ideas/concepts in device Test/Debug/DFT/DFM and follow-through to deliverable outcomes. Product quality and cost target attainment • Assist Engineers to support root-cause investigations into yield fallouts, analysis of electrical & electronics engineering issues and solutions • Implement established test plans to verify requirements compliance • Apply new subject matter knowledge and data analytics to understand root cause and observation • Work on small independent engineering projects to augment internal work • Prepare & present weekly progress reports on deliverables, work instructions, and write technical documentation. • Learning to interact w/ a concurrent engineering team in the R&D environment from design thru transition to production. • and other duties as assigned
