Software quality auditor responsible for conducting feature audits of software development processes, assessing training needs, and driving process improvements while supporting problem-solving methodologies in a complex multi-team environment.

Full Description
  • Conduct comprehensive feature auditing of software development processes and corresponding work products following our internal guidelines and ensure that all activities comply with our policies, standards, and best practices.
  • Assess training needs and gaps within teams related to software engineering practices, act as a coach for the teams to help them resolve their audit findings and prevent further issues, and facilitate connections between teams and team coaches to address more complex issues and identified gaps.
  • Analyze trends in audit findings, identify potential areas for improvement in existing processes, practices and tools and communicate those improvement opportunities to our internal process definition organization
  • Be part of Quality Improvement initiatives, driving process and tool enhancements in a complex environment with contributions from several teams and locales
  • Provide support on the problem-solving methods, such as 8D Problem solving and Deep Root Cause Analysis
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information technology, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or similar areas
  • Proven track record of experience in Software Engineering or Software Test to enable day-to-day exchange with the engineers
  • Positive experience in application of effective engineering processes, practices and supporting tools, delivering high standard of quality
  • Knowledge of Python or alternative scripting languages and experience with SQL to support audits automation
  • Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving skills
  • You are a driver for change and enthusiastic about people, tools, and processes
  • Experience working in agile setups is a plus.
  • Interest in automation and data-driven quality improvement is welcomed.
  • Knowledge of or experience with the Cyber Resilience Act (CRA) and related regulatory requirements is considered a bonus.
  • Experience with software quality or regulatory standards in safety- or security-relevant environments (e.g. automotive, medical, industrial) is a bonus.
  • Strong English writing and communications skills to work effectively with engineers of different backgrounds, cultures, and prior experiences and to compile necessary process documentation
  • Good German proficiency is welcomed
