The Linux Platform Team is now seeking a Principal Engineer with a strong background in operating systems, open embedded system, network, cyber security and distributed systems. The team is responsible for the Linux platform that enables product development across the organization. 

This position is for individuals with strong technical capabilities who are also expected to assume broader responsibilities in architecture and technical leadership. This position is also ideal for a technical expert ready to transition into a technical leadership position. 

We are looking for candidates with a strong track record for bringing products to the market, and we expect practical experience with Linux-in-a-box products. The ideal candidate combines technical excellence with pragmatism and can identify the optimal solution yet balance real-world constraints to deliver high-quality results. 

We expect you to bring: 

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to navigate complex technical discussions and engage stakeholders 

• A technical degree (Robotics, Data Technology, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or similar) 

• 10+ years of experience in Linux and distributed systems 

• Hands-on experience of writing production software in multi-developed environments 

• Deep expertise in operating systems, open embedded, system, network, cyber security and distributed systems.
